Best dining on the planet! – If you are looking for flavorful, plentiful and meticulously prepared food then Bintliff’s is your place. The staff is experienced and attentive to all your needs. Highest quality without breaking the bank. Food is priced fairly for what you receive. Specials are always worth trying although it’s hard to break from my favorites. This is a MUST for anyone looking for fine dining or even casual eats at the bar. It’s all good
Great 30th anniversary dinner on the 4th was had…. We were staying down at a resort down the road and asked them to call in a dinner reservation for my wife and I for our anniversary which was on the 4th of July. We arrived and were greeted by Paul, very nice gentleman. He recalled it was our special night so he sat us in the best seats in the house. We felt very good at this point. Jenn B was our waitress and was very hospitable. She suggested the wine as well as the nights special for dinner – PEI mussels and sea scallops over a scampi fettuccine. My wife couldn’t resist that. I went for the Pan seared Maine Salmon served over whipped cauliflower with Horseradish, cheddar cheese, baby spinach and port wine balsamic glaze. I am still drooling! So good!! The service was fabulous and food delightful. If you’re in a romantic mood, this is the place for you. You won’t be sorry. Tell Jenn B I sent you!
Feels like home… We took a chance and got reservations on the Fourth of July! The three of us arrived a few minutes early and were greeted and seated promptly. We were welcomed like old friends yet had never dined here before!
Our waitress, Jess, was very attentive without being annoying. Saw to our every need and was a pleasure. She has a great smile. As an appetizer we gave the baked escargot a try. It was delightful. Chock full of flavorful snails and warm sweet tomatoes and garlic. The puff pastry on top was amazing. This at only $10 was a real value.
My sister had the cafe burger and she was very pleased. It was cooked exactly as requested and was huge! She loved it.
My other sister enjoyed the surf and turf and if I judge by the empty plate she enjoyed hers as well.
I ordered from the lighter fare menu. I was served a beautifully prepared club steak. It was served with fresh potatoe chips. I could have eaten a ton.
All in all the service was great, the drinks and food was wonderful and we really enjoyed our visit. I’m sure we shall return
Home again…when you visit Bintliff’s Restaurant – Norm, the Chef Owner, has such a great memory… remembered us from last Fall. The food is superb….my favorite now is the open faced corned beef sandwich… make sure you have someone to share it with.! Quite a wonderful taste. Don’t miss this unique place.
Good Start Of The Day! Again, we had breakfast at Blintliff’s and as always, it was great. Regular eggs benedict were very good and the ones with smocked salmon were great. My husband and I loved the hash browns…delicious.
Service was very friendly, as always and very attentive.
We’ll be back!
Amazing Breakfasts! We Go to Bintliff’s two or three times for breakfast every time we are in the area. Large menu from egg combos to fancy pancakes/ waffles to lobster Benedict. Not sure about dinner food but a “not to miss” for breakfast.
WOW! – OK – we come here every time we’re in town — at least twice a year –, usually for dinner (excellent always) and then for early morning breakfast on the day we leave when we always have breakfast-like things. Today was different — we came around noontime, and enjoyed the variety available on the brunch menu.
We started with Peach Bellinis, which were grand. My husband had the duck burger — absolutly astounding in flavor, and in portion size. It was a true delight! It was served on a very fresh ciabatta roll with a small mesculin salad. I opted for the crabcakes Benedict: totally awesome! Generous crab cakes crisp yet succulent, perfectly poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce, hash browns and toast.
I can’t sing the praises of Bintliff’s enough! In addition to delicious food in a luxurious setting, the staff are always warm, professional, polite and very attentive without being intrusive. They are well trained and an important part of the excellent experience of any meal here.
Easter Brunch – OMG!!! – Easter Sunday around 1 no reservations and a 20 minute wait??? Lucky us. Sat at the bar ordered one of they’re many versions of Bloody Mary’s. I think there were 6. Top notch. We hadn’t finished our drink and they called us. The special of the day was Duck Hash with asparagus, red onion, shredded potatoes and 2 perfectly poached eggs. The duck was chunks of flavorful and perfectly cooked I was expecting chopped up meat. The dish was wonderful. Dessert amazing as well. Can’t wait to go back. The only downfall it’s only opened Thurs-Sun. We arrived on Sunday left on Friday. Also Groupon has coupon. Worth the trip can’t wait to go back.
Bintliff’s in Ogunquit has Maine’s Best Brunch – When looking for your first meal of the day, you often don’t want to drive too far to start your morning. In Ogunquit, that means wandering over to Bintliff’s on Route 1 (Main Street). I’m so pleased to have a great breakfast place in the neighborhood.
My morning time ritual usually starts with me ending up at the same place every time. Bintliff’s Corned Beef Hash is hands down the best damn brunch I have ever had! Their famous Angus corned beef is simmered overnight, blended with potatoes, onions, special herbs and seasonings to make the Best Corned Beef Hash you ever tasted! Come complete with two poached eggs. I added the fabulous “BLT Bloody Mary” with bacon infused vodka to make a perfect breakfast. Jason, the bartender, also has another great Bloody Mary, this one with basil and cucumber infused vodka – it is described as a “Salad in a Glass” – and it really does taste like it.
Norm, the owner/chef is creative with both his morning entrees and accompanying adult beverages. And, you can still get a great cup of coffee. The best way to start the day is a seat at Bintliff’s. It doesn’t come any better.

Bintliff’s is modest on the outside, but stunning on the inside

… The restaurant has a charming atmosphere with music from long ago quietly playing in the background. It is a place where one feels comfortable, not intimidated. Meals are nicely paced, allowing you to relax and experience really fine food.
